Andrew Lustig is a writer, a ‘Jewish Slam Poet,’ and a creative writing teacher. Films of Andrew’s poems have been viewed online more than 500,000 times.
A 2013-2014 Dorot Fellow in Israel, Andrew worked with African asylum seekers and studied Jewish and Buddhist mindfulness meditation. He also studied at the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. He is a co-creator and the Educational Director of the award-winning One Wish Film Project, which produces films, interactive educational content, and hands-on social action events focused on conflict resolution and humanizing marginalized individuals around the world.
Both ‘One Wish Jerusalem’ and ‘One Wish for Iran, Love Israel’ have been viewed more than 100,000 times. In the summer, Andrew is an artist-in-residence and mentor for college students at the Brandeis Collegiate Institute in L.A.
