Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know about Celebrate Israel: Boston.

What if it rains?

Celebrate Israel: Boston is a rain or shine event and, unless it’s unsafe, we’ll be there.

Do I need to bring an ID?
Yes, photo ID required for entry.

Will all the food be kosher at the festival?
Yes, all food available for purchase will be kosher under rabbinic supervision.

Will outside food and drinks be allowed to be brought into the festival?
You are welcome to bring your own food into the festival. However, no outside beverages or hard-sided coolers will be allowed. Why? Think airline security regulations…but on the plus side, you can keep your shoes on.

Are pets allowed into the festival?
Service dogs are welcome. However, due to health regulations, we can’t allow pet dogs (or any other pets)…not even ones who have perfect manners and fit in your purse.

Is there parking near the festival?
Plenty of free parking is available at nearby Bentley College with frequent shuttles to Gann Academy. Check back for more specific parking info and directions closer to the event date (May 31). Please be courteous to the neighbors of Gann Academy; remember that parking on Forest Street, the access road to Waltham’s recreational facilities, and surrounding neighborhood roadsides is strictly forbidden. Illegally parked cars will be ticketed and towed.

Can’t I just park on the side streets and walk?

NO! Please be respectful to the neighbors and refrain from parking on the streets around the event or in residential neighborhoods. Cars will be ticketed and towed at owners' expense.
